Quick Start

This guide will get you from zero to your first connected notes in about a minute.

  1. Visit sidvy.com
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Click the magic link sent to your inbox
  4. You’re in! No password needed.
  1. Click the + button in the sidebar or press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + K and type New note
  2. Give your note a name
  3. Start typing

The editor supports markdown shortcuts:

  • # for headings
  • - for bullet lists
  • - [ ] for todo checkboxes
  • **bold** and *italic*
  • `code` for inline code
  1. Create a second note
  2. In either note, type [[
  3. Start typing the name of the other note
  4. Select it from the suggestions
  5. Click the link to jump between notes

Notice the Backlinks panel on the right? It shows you which notes link to the current one.

In any note, type:

- [ ] My first todo
- [ ] Another task
- [x] Already done

Click the checkbox to toggle completion. Or visit the Todos tab to see all todos across all notes.

  1. Click + in the sidebar
  2. Select New Group
  3. Drag notes into the group

Groups can be nested for deeper organization.
