Quick Start
This guide will get you from zero to your first connected notes in about a minute.
Step 1: Sign Up
Section titled “Step 1: Sign Up”- Visit sidvy.com
- Enter your email address
- Click the magic link sent to your inbox
- You’re in! No password needed.
Step 2: Create Your First Note
Section titled “Step 2: Create Your First Note”- Click the + button in the sidebar or press
Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + Kand typeNew note - Give your note a name
- Start typing
The editor supports markdown shortcuts:
#for headings-for bullet lists- [ ]for todo checkboxes**bold**and*italic*`code`for inline code
Step 3: Connect Notes with Wiki Links
Section titled “Step 3: Connect Notes with Wiki Links”- Create a second note
- In either note, type
[[ - Start typing the name of the other note
- Select it from the suggestions
- Click the link to jump between notes
Notice the Backlinks panel on the right? It shows you which notes link to the current one.
Step 4: Add Some Todos
Section titled “Step 4: Add Some Todos”In any note, type:
- [ ] My first todo- [ ] Another task- [x] Already doneClick the checkbox to toggle completion. Or visit the Todos tab to see all todos across all notes.
Step 5: Organize with Groups
Section titled “Step 5: Organize with Groups”- Click + in the sidebar
- Select New Group
- Drag notes into the group
Groups can be nested for deeper organization.
