Creating & Editing Notes

Notes are the core of Sidvy. Here’s everything you need to know about working with them.

Click the + button at the top of the sidebar to create a new note in the current workspace.

  1. Press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + K to open the command palette
  2. Type “new note”
  3. Press Enter

Notes save automatically as you type. No manual save needed.

The editor supports:

  • Text formatting (bold, italic, underline, strikethrough)
  • Headings (H1-H6)
  • Lists (bullet, numbered, checkbox)
  • Code blocks with syntax highlighting
  • Block quotes
  • Horizontal rules
  • Links
  • Images
  • Tables

Type these at the start of a line to instantly format:
