Customize Sidvy’s appearance to match your preferences.
Accessing Appearance Settings
Section titled “Accessing Appearance Settings”- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Select the Appearance tab
Light Mode
Section titled “Light Mode”Clean, bright interface suitable for well-lit environments.
Dark Mode
Section titled “Dark Mode”Darker interface that’s easier on the eyes in low light.
System Default
Section titled “System Default”Automatically matches your operating system’s preference:
- macOS: Follows System Preferences > Appearance
- Windows: Follows Settings > Personalization > Colors
- Linux: Follows desktop environment theme
Toggling Theme
Section titled “Toggling Theme”Quick Toggle
Section titled “Quick Toggle”Use the theme toggle in the sidebar footer to quickly switch between light and dark.
Command Palette
Section titled “Command Palette”- Press
Cmd/Ctrl + K - Type “theme”
- Select Toggle Theme
Week Start Day
Section titled “Week Start Day”Configure which day your week starts on:
- Go to Settings > Appearance
- Select Week starts on
- Choose Sunday, Monday, or Saturday
This affects calendar-related features and displays.
Confetti on Todo Completion
Section titled “Confetti on Todo Completion”Toggle confetti animation when completing todos:
- Go to Settings > Todos
- Toggle Confetti on todo completion
