Shows the old version on the left, current on the right. Changes are highlighted in both.

Shows a single view with additions and deletions marked inline. Removed text appears struck through in red, added text appears in green.

Click Restore to replace the current note with the selected snapshot version.

Click Cancel or press Escape to close without changes.

Use the dropdown to select a different snapshot for comparison.

To compare two historical versions (not current):

  1. Open the snapshot list
  2. Select the first snapshot
  3. Use the “Compare with…” option
  4. Select the second snapshot

Before a meeting, review what you added since the last version.

See how a document developed over time by stepping through snapshots.

Compare current version to an earlier known-good state.

If something disappeared, use diff to find where it was removed.

For notes with many changes, use the navigation buttons rather than scrolling.

The diff shows surrounding context so you can understand where changes occurred.

Some diffs may show whitespace changes (extra spaces, line breaks). These are usually not significant.
