Import from Obsidian

Migrate your Obsidian vault to Sidvy with a simple zip and import process. Your folder structure, wiki links, and markdown formatting are all preserved.

Quick Migration

Step 1: Zip Your Vault

1. Open Finder (Mac) or File Explorer (Windows)
2. Navigate to your Obsidian vault folder
3. Select all contents or the root folder
4. Create a zip file:
   • Mac: Right-click > Compress
   • Windows: Right-click > Send to > Compressed folder

Step 2: Import to Sidvy

1. Go to sidvy.com and sign in
2. Open Settings > Import/Export
3. Click Import from Zip
4. Select your vault zip file
5. Preview the import structure
6. Click Import

That’s it. Your entire vault is now in Sidvy.

Your Obsidian folder hierarchy becomes Sidvy groups:
